The MS+  systems are stand-alone, modular, 1 to 16-channel data recorders. They can be completely configured according to your wishes. The basic unit has 16 free input slots and can be expanded with input modules. There is a choice from 30 different input modules, optical or non-optical isolated. When ordering, the desired configuration should be indicated. The systems are developed for stand-alone recording of temperature (using PT100, PT1000, Ni1000, and thermocouples), alternating current, AC voltage, DC process signals (mA, volt), pulses (status or counts), etc. Sensors with an output signal (e.g. for temperature, relative humidity or pressure sensing) can be easily connected to a mA or a volt input. 

The recorders have a large memory capacity for storage of 480,000 readings. They can operate independently, without a PC. Data can be stored in this memory using sampling intervals varying from 1x per second to 1x per 24 hours. The sampling interval selected will apply to all channels. It is possible to store the data on the hard disk of a PC during measuring and recording. The transfer of recorded data takes place via an RS-232 or RS-485 communication interface with the PC (or via a modem). The data stored on hard disk can be analyzed and printed using Windows ® software.

If there is a power failure, the recorder will stop collecting measured data. Until the moment of a power failure, the date and time of the failure will be stored in a backup battery, along with the recorded data. After the power has been restored, the ATM units will automatically resume their measurements.

Display, alarm and network (only for MS3+ and MS4+)

The actual readings of the various inputs are displayed on the convenient LCD screen on the ATM-03 and the ATM-04 units. All readings can be displayed one by one using the function keys. In addition, there are four LED’s to show the status of the power voltage and the memory (exceeding 75% and 100% full). These status indicators are also announced by a sound signal.

The MS3+ and MS4+ units have extensive features for alarm signaling. Each input has 2 independently adjustable alarm set points with adjustable hysteretic and time delay.

An alarm is announced both audibly (buzzer) and visually (LED 1 to 32). The MS3+ has 1 relay, and the MS4+ unit has 16 relays, available to send signals to a central signaling system or to activate a telephone dialer. In addition, multiple MS+ units can be networked via an RS485 interface.
