General:
The ELF Field Monitors are portable, hand-held instruments
designed and calibrated to measure low level 50 Hz or 60 Hz electromagnetic field
radiation. The monitors are appropriately utilized to determine the magnitude of
electromagnetic field radiation generated by power lines, TV sets, video display terminals
(VDT's), home appliances, industrial machinery and many other similiar devices.
When activated in any area where Extremely Low Frequency (ELF)
fields are suspect, the monitors will indicate the magnitude of the magnetic field on
their easy to read 3 1/2 digit LCD digital display.

Features:
- 3-axis (vector magnitude) display of the magnetic field level in
milligauss.
- Autoranging function provides full ±0.1 to ±1999 milligauss range
Frequency range 40 Hz to 400 Hz.
- Options include analog output jack, switchable single-axis mode, hard
carrying case.
- Soft vinyl carrving case.
General:
The ELF-90D is used to make accurate spot magnetic field
measurements in the ELF/power frequency band from 40 Hz to 400 Hz. After turning the
switch to the ON position, the value of the magnetic field is accurately displayed, in
milligauss, on a digital LCD. The meter reading is unaffected by the directional sense or
orientation of the meter.
The ELF-90D uses three internal orthogonal sensors to
evaluate and display a wide range of ELF magnetic fields, independent of measurement
angle.
The unit will automatically adjust to the proper scale yielding a
wide dynamic measurement range of ±0.1 to ±1999 milligauss. Under normal operating
conditions the unit will provide 30 hours of continuous use with a standard 9V alkaline
battery.
